About Rank Report

About Rank Report

Rank Report is an independent blog about keyword rank tracking and SERP monitoring — specifically, about the methodology underneath the numbers.

Why this exists

Almost everything written about rank tracking is published by companies that sell rank trackers. That content is often accurate, but it has a floor: it can never conclude “you’re checking too often,” or “your tool and Google disagree because your tool is guessing,” or “this metric doesn’t support the decision you’re making with it.”

We have nothing to sell, so we can say those things.

What we cover

Tracker methodology and accuracy, SERP volatility, geographic and personalised results, SERP-feature and AI-overview tracking, diagnosing ranking drops, tracking cadence, and share-of-voice measurement.

What we don’t do

  • No affiliate rankings. We don’t publish “best rank tracker” listicles. If we ever compare tools, it will be because we ran them side by side on the same keyword set and can show the method.
  • No invented data. We don’t publish statistics, case studies, or test results we didn’t produce. Where a claim can’t be verified, we describe the mechanism instead of inventing a number.
  • No outbound links. Tools get named in plain text where the point requires it. Nothing here is a paid placement.

A note on the domain

rankdice.com previously hosted an unrelated third-party SEO product. This site has no connection to it, and does not use its name or republish its content.
